The Deacons assist the elders by overseeing all of the practical ministries that take place at WBC. Their main role is to help lead all of the various teams that perform the multitude of "hands on" ministries that take place each week. Acts 6:1-6 & 1 Timothy 3:8-13
CHAIR & DEACON OF IT/OFFICE SERVICES
Ken became a Deacon in 2013 and has been attending WBC for most of his life. Ken, his wife Carolyn, and three children, Kayla, Jocelyn and Rylan live in Inverhaugh. Ken works at Way-Mar where he is the CFO and Director of Human Resources. Ken enjoys golf, travelling, camping in provincial parks and President's Choice chocolate chips. It is Ken's desire to see people have a passion to follow Jesus and get involved at WBC in a meaningful way using the Spiritual gifts God has so graciously given them.

Deacon OF MEMBER CARE
Wayne served on the WBC Board of Directors for 5 years and has served as a deacon since 2012. Wayne and his wife Carolyn live in Elmira and enjoy being available to babysit their growing number of grandchildren. They also enjoy relaxing at their cottage with family and friends. Wayne has been employed in the animal feed industry for over 25 yrs and likes to spend time developing friendships on the golf course.
DEACON OF PROPERTY MANAGMENT
Rick and his wife Joy have three beautiful daughters and many grandchildren who keep them busy most days. Rick loves to spend time in his backyard digging ponds and creating water features. He enjoys fishing during the summer months and watching hockey the rest of the year. His desire is to serve his community in practical ways showing the love of Jesus.

DEACON OF FINANCE & TREASURER
Neil previously served on the Building Committee, the Board of Directors and continues to serve as Treasurer. Neil and his wife, Rosanne, reside in Elmira. Their four children are married. Neil enjoys many sports activities and riding his motorcycle on nice days. Neil finds great joy in using his spiritual gifts and serving in practical ways.
Ken and his wife Sharon started attending WBC shortly after they were married and moved to the area in 1996. Ken and his family live just outside of Wellesley where they enjoy the outdoors every opportunity they get. Ken works in the automation robotics industry at a small company in Waterloo. His hobbies include skiing in the winter, and cycling/ motor biking in the summer.

DEACON OF POLICY
Don served on Wallenstein Bible Chapel's board of directors for six years before joining the deacon's team in 2012. Don lives in Linwood with his wife Julie and owns/operates the oldest family run grocery store in Canada! Don enjoys the outdoors, fishing and playing squash with his son Bennett.
