The Thrive team is a team similar to the Deacons. They also assist the Elders. Their responsibility is to care for the numerous "Word based" ministries and volunteers that serve at WBC (i.e. children’s programs, worship, etc...) I Peter 4:10-11 & Ephesians 4:7-16


Carolyn Bearinger

Carolyn has attended Wallenstein all her life, and with her husband Ken has three adult kids. She has a passion to be used of God to help build into the lives of those in her local church, and be involved in God's restorative work in their lives. She is also thankful to be able to use her musical gifting in different spheres at WBC as she longs to see God's name lifted high.

Rosanne Martin

Rosanne and her husband, Neil reside in Elmira. She enjoyed her role as a mom and homemaker as she raised her four children. She loves decorating and being creative with her hands. Rosanne has served in different capacities of women’s ministry at WBC over the years. But now in the empty nest stage of life, she has been able to give more time and energy to serve. Encouraging women in their faith walk with the Lord gives her great joy.

Brad and his wife Lynne make their home in peaceful Floradale. With four teenage children, their chaotic lives don't always fit that image of peace, but they are thankful for every minute together.  As the Branch Manager in Elmira for Kindred Credit Union, Brad enjoys working within his community in the area of finances from a faith and values perspective. Getting away with the family to their trailer is an enjoyable aspect of summer. It is here that he has truly learned how to relax. Brad is grateful for every opportunity to be faithful in the area God provides to serve.

Doreen Shantz

Doreen and her husband Rick, own and operate a dairy farm near Wallenstein, ON. She enjoys playing piano, walking and a good book. Doreen has three grown children and some amazing grandchildren to keep her on her toes.

aaron Taillefer

Aaron and his wife Hannah have three children and live in Conestogo. Aaron has attended WBC for many years and works as a plumber in Guelph. Hannah works part time as a hairdresser out of their home. Aaron enjoys spending time with his family and friends and loves the great outdoors. Aaron would love to see everyone who calls WBC home to be connected and using their gifts and talents to further God's kingdom.
