School of Discipleship
MISSION CLASSES
These are the three courses offered in the Mission track. Read below for details.
Evangelism & Disciple-making
This is a course designed to equip and inspire believers to faithfully share the gospel of Jesus Christ in everyday life.
Rooted in the conviction that evangelism and disciple-making are both commands and privileges, this class will explore the Biblical foundation for evangelism and disciple-making, the example of Jesus and the early church, and practical ways to engage others with the message of hope. Topics will include understanding the gospel clearly, sharing your personal testimony, answering tough questions, and cultivating a lifestyle of gospel intentionality. We will examine the life and methods of Jesus as the model for disciple-making, and explore key practices such as relational investment, teaching obedience, modeling spiritual rhythms, and multiplying disciples. Students will be encouraged to grow in confidence and conviction as ambassadors for Christ in their homes, workplaces, communities, and the world.

Defending the Faith
Rooted in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20) and the call to always be ready to give a defense (1 Peter 3:15), students will learn not only what they believe and why they believe it, but also how to clearly communicate and defend the Christian faith in a world filled with skepticism, false teaching, and spiritual confusion. We will address common objections to Christianity and develop skills for engaging in meaningful gospel conversations.
Defending the Faith is a course designed to help believers grow in both confidence and clarity as they speak about their faith in Jesus Christ.

Church History
This course offers an engaging journey through the major events, movements, and people that have shaped the Christian church from its beginnings to the present day.
Emphasis will be placed on understanding how historical developments have influenced theology, worship, and the mission of the church across cultures and centuries. Students will reflect on the relevance of church history for the life of the church today.
