If you have been on a grief journey for a while, you may find yourself wondering, “How do I go on with life?” If this is you, then you’ll want to join us for this workshop. We’ll be hearing from brothers and sisters in Christ who are few years into their own grief journeys. They’ll be sharing how their journeys have changed over the years and how those journeys are changing them. 

Note: This workshop is for individuals who are grieving the loss of a loved one. However, we also encourage caregivers to join the workshop. Maybe you can bring your grieving friend or family member with you.

We are encouraging all parents to join us! This is a place where you can connect with fellow parents, learn from experienced ones, and be equipped to better bring up your children in the fear of the LORD. The topic for the evening will be education-- a vital part of your children's upbringing. This responsibility is given to parents directly from the Lord, and our desire is to support and equip you in carrying it out.

Are you grieving the death of a loved one? And in your grief, have you ever wondered, “Am I going crazy?” Grief can do that. It changes the way we think, feel, and related, and this change can make us feel like we’re losing it. In this workshop, we will explore the changes commonly associated with grief, and we’ll also talk about how to cope with your grief experience. Our hope is that you will leave the workshop with the understanding that you’re not crazy, you’re just grieving.

Games Night at WBC (upstairs)

Is someone you know grieving the loss of a loved one? Do you ever wonder how you can best support them? If so, then this workshop is for you. In this workshop, we will explore how to best care for the people in our lives who are grieving. Our hope is that you’ll leave the workshop with lots of ideas for what to do…as well as some warnings for what not to do!

Anyone interested in learning more about baptism is welcome to join this class happening in the WBC cafe during the 11am service.

Tickets help cover the cost of the meal so that the funds raised go directly toward supporting camp.

Be at WBC by 8:30am to carpool to Mono Cliffs Park.

Hike approximately 8km (2-2.5 hours).

Cost: $12.25 per vehicle to park. $5 per person to hike.

You will sign up for a location, then find out where you are going the week before. 

Your host will contact you with specific details. 

Plan to bring sandwiches or dessert (as directed by your host) to add to the potluck meal you will enjoy. Your host will provide the soup and beverage.

Schneider's Bush Trail Head, Wilmot, ON

You are warmly invited to join WBC on Sunday, October 12, in remembering Wayne Hockley and his contribution to our church. Wayne was WBC’s Pastor of Congregational Care from 2014-2024. He passed away a year ago, on October 11, 2024.

During the 9:00am and 11:00am services, we will hear church members share memories of Wayne. At 10:15am (i.e. between the services) we will gather in front of the church with Wayne’s family for a memorial tree planting ceremony.

Dates: Tuesdays, 7:00-9:00pm (October 7 - November 25, 2025)

How can we faithfully understand and apply God's Word today? How to Study the Bible is a foundational course designed to equip students with the tools and confidence to read, interpret, and apply Scripture with clarity and purpose.
