POSITION: English Teaching Aid K-6
DURATION: 1 year (April 2025)
DESCRIPTION: Aid in the development and growth of the English program at a private Christian school of 200 students. Located in an at-risk community, the Hope of Bastion School’s desire is to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ through quality education--giving students the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and hopelessness.
COMMITMENT: approximately 30 hours per week
REQUIREMENTS: Moderate Spanish preferred,
TESOL/TEFOL course preferred
FUNDING: support-based
COST: $1,500/month (USD)

POSITION: Child Sponsorship Worker - Elementary K-9
DURATION: 1 year (April 2025)
DESCRIPTION: Aid in the child sponsorship program at a private Christian school of 200 students. Located in an at-risk community, the Hope of Bastion School’s desire is to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ through quality education--giving students the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and hopelessness. The child sponsorship program is a fundamental aspect to the ministry and requires a genuine heart for children and bridging the geographical gap between the student and their sponsors.
COMMITMENT: approximately 30 hours per week
REQUIREMENTS: Moderate Spanish preferred, experience with computers (Gmail, Google Drive etc.)
