Phil & Andrea Bauman - SIM

Greetings from Asia where we have spent a couple of weeks, first with Phil's International Leadership Team, and then with leaders from South Asia. 
Unfortunately as we were wrapping up our time, Andrea tripped and had a nasty fall that has left her with a very sore shoulder and a mild concussion. As we start our travels home in a few hours, please pray that travel would be uneventful and that Andrea could be comfortable as we make the long trip. Please pray too for quick healing.

• Praise God for the time we had with some of our SIM International colleagues in the US at their Spiritual Life Conference. It was great to be together and reflect on God's word.

• Praise God for the opportunity to be together with Phil's International Leadership Team, to be together in person and to plan for new ways of working together in a changed leadership structure.

• Praise for the great time we had together with a group of South Asian leaders. It was an opportunity to share together and learn together about leading SIM ministry in a variety of South Asian contexts. 

• Pray for wisdom for Phil and the leadership team as they adjust to a new structure and new ways of working together.

• Pray for the leaders here in South Asia. They serve in some very unique places that present various opportunities and challenges. Pray that our time together with them would continue to be an encouragement to them as they return to their various leadership roles across the region.

• Pray for much wisdom and sensitivity for Phil and others on his leadership team as they work closely with SIM leaders in two West African countries where security is deteriorating and we are needing to relocate personnel.
