Ray & Carol Jones - Guelph

Dear friends and family,

It looks as though spring has finally won the annual battle with winter and we're enjoying some warmer weather with all the beauties of new life.

We had the  joy of a three week old visit from our sister-in-law (Carol's late brother, Colin's wife). It was such a joy having a family member with us for that time.

Speaking of joy, we have been sharing the gospel with a lady at a market we go to. A few weeks ago, Carol said that she had been preaching about knitting, so I asked her how that would work for eternity and shared the gospel with her again. Two weeks later when we went, she was absolutely joyful and had trusted the Lord! On a sadder note, I heard recently that an old friend is dying. I drove down to see him, but he was unresponsive. However, the family were gathered around and asked me to pray for them, which I did and also shared the gospel as I don't know if they are all saved. I will be taking the funeral so would appreciate prayer for that.

Carol is still having trouble with shingles, which is painful and has seriously affected her hearing. The other day I said something about a suspected tornado and she thought I said leggo! :)

I'm still very busy with speaking, etc., Events at Guelph Bible Conference Centre (guelphbiblecc.com) where I am still Vice-Chairman.

We are so thankful for all of you who stand with us in serving the Lord here. We left England just over fifty years ago to serve the Lord wherever He would lead. We determined to go by faith alone and trust the Lord to lead, guide and provide. Great has been His faithfulness and great has been the love and care of His people. One Day all who know Him and are saved by grace through faith will be together with Him for all of eternity. What a Day that will be, won't it?

All for now. Our warmest love to you all.

Yours in Christ,

         Ray and Carol.
