Phil & Andrea Bauman - SIM

Greetings from the beautiful island of Mauritius!  We are here to visit SIM workers but first we have enjoyed a few days by ourselves to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We have much to thank God for!
After Mauritius we head to Madagascar. For those of you that have journeyed with us since our early days exploring ministry, you may remember that more than 25 years ago we were considering ministry in Madagascar before ending up in Ghana.  It will be exciting to visit the hospital where we might have gone.
As we visit these very 'new to us' places we desire to listen and learn about ministry and encourage our workers.

As we travel here in the islands we'd love you to join with us to:

• Praise God for the opportunity to visit our local and expat workers here in Mauritius and Madagascar. Pray that we can listen and learn well.

• Praise for the opportunity to travel to a variety of ministry locations. Pray for safety in travel by air and road. 

• Praise for the workers from outside the islands who are here seeking to make an impact in communities. Pray that we can meet many of them and gain a better understanding of their ministry so that as an organization we can support them well as an organization.

• Praise for the zeal of Christians here to participate in God's mission around the world. Pray that we can be an encouragement to them and discern well how we can work together.

• Unfortunately, Phil was sick for a day or so while we were on vacation. Praise God that he was able to get quick treatment and that God has provided rapid healing. Pray for complete recovery and continued good health for us both while we travel.
