Phil & Andrea Bauman (SIM)

We are very grateful for the time we had over the last couple weeks with Phil's leadership team as well as SIM's Board of Governors!  It was a very busy time and with all the travelling we do it was good to be reminded of this quote from Spurgeon that we saw hanging on the guesthouse wall.

Thank you for your prayers. Please join with us to:

• Praise God for the times together with Phil's leadership team and the important in-person discussions that took place.

• Praise God for the godly and gifted people that make up SIM's Board of Governors. We had the opportunity to celebrate two of our Board members who are ending their service on the Board. The Board appreciated the 'State of the Mission' report and looks forward to seeing a refined version next year.

• Praise God we were blessed with gorgeous weather on our four days of driving to and from Charlotte.

• Praise God for the opportunities Andrea had to meet and spend time with colleagues, particularly those that serve in Personnel roles.

• Pray for our time at a Leader Development event in Italy Sep 18th to 24th. Developing godly leaders of character who lead skillfully in SIM is a very high priority for us. We do not have any formal responsibilities at this event but look forward to spending time with the leaders. Please pray for safe travel and for opportunities to connect with and listen to these leaders who are newer in their roles.
