PRAISE: For our daughter Amelia travelling and adjusting to life on our Denmark Mission trip much better than we expected; for many spiritual conversations and gospel-themed conversations that our mission trip team was able to have; for a much better understanding of the culture, spiritual climate and need for the gospel in Western Europe; for a safe return to Canada. PRAY: For the Danish students that we met to continue journeying towards Jesus (Some names include: Soren, Kenneth, Alex, Bjarke, Jane and Deewa); for our Canadian students to continue growing in Christ after the structure and faith-stretching experience of the mission trip; for our summer as we receive valuable ministry training, get some rest and prepare for the school year ahead.

PRAISE: For added capacity of a new project manager and executive assistant joining Russ' team; for significant progress on a key analytics project, better understanding how we are engaging our audiences; for good engagement with 300 leaders at our global Leadership conference in June. PRAY: For us as we continue to battle skin issues with Gwenyth and Heath; for discernment in evaluating next steps when our work visa expires in 2019; for rest and good connection with ministry partners during a visit to Canada mid-June to mid-July.

PRAISE: We had 9 men attend the chapel service at Millhaven this past Sunday afternoon. Rob is maintaining a strong faith and humble spirit as he begins his 2 year sentence, although he misses his family. Good support from chaplains during this time of transition. For Jeff’s salvation and now his understanding and growth as a child of God. PRAY: Ongoing opportunity for men to attend chapel services and programs without obstacles from staff or scheduling. Wisdom as we seek to care for Susan’s parents in their senior years. For Frank, David, Jamie, Ab and Steve; that they would have spiritual wisdom and guidance as they return to the street over the next several weeks. For the families of men who are incarcerated…especially the children.

PRAISE: Though it took a few weeks with jet lag, we seem back to normal now. Les was able to preach twice in the Spanish church this month including baptizing three young people, two of whom were the pastor's grandchildren.A highlight was to meet Luis and Crystal, missionaries from Heidelberg Fellowship to whom we had given a premarital course via skype. PRAY: For pastoral visitation and continuing Spanish ministry during the summer. For the elders of the church in Spain as they go through decision making and dealing with some difficult interpersonal relationships so that there would be healing and blessing.

PRAISE: We are half way through our CREATE summer mission trip in Guelph. We're growing as a team and learning lots. We met our deadline and just sent 2 workbooks (Contextualize and Intersection) to print. I had two refreshing weekend getaways in June. PRAY: We have one workbook left to finish writing. Pray that the articles, questions, and content would come together for the Rooted workbook. As we do online ministry as part of the CREATE mission trip, pray that we would have many meaningful conversations with students. Pray that some of those students would get connected with our P2C groups on campus. In September I will be transitioning into a new role in September. I'll be working with the Global Missions Team. Pray that God would prepare me for this new role.
