PRAISE: Great time of Christmas and year-end activities and opportunities to minister. Good connections with family even if by skype and texts. Thankful for time with our son Vince's family and seeing him involved in music at Woodside. Les has eye appointment in London Jan. 23 to see about cloudiness in right eye. PRAY: Seniors - Bible studies, music times at Chartwell, senior events. Spanish- Twice a month preaching and music at Spanish Church, a number of individual Spanish contacts which we enjoy and the Lord brings to us. One such girl is a Spaniard at Teen Ranch who says she adopts us as her Canadian grandparents. Pastoral Care Team- there are always opportunities to minister at WBC.

PRAISE: We'll praise Him for all that is past and trust Him for all that's to come. Shoulder therapy has been helpful but need to keep up exercises. Another 2 inmates finished all 89 courses. Christmas activities were God-honoring, even though we didn't have the retreat. Will look forward to one more activity Jan. 3 in my house. So grateful for the attentive doctors I have. PRAY: My eye specialist found the wet stage of macular degeneration in my left eye, so I received the first injection. The second one will be Jan. 15. Bob and Alice Hoover, Mike and Leona Bastiansenn come Jan. 12 for 3 weeks to help me empty my apartment and paint it ready for sale. Discerning the Lord's will for future workers in Emmaus.

For safe travel for Andrea and Phil as they make a last visit Jan 8-18 to the team and various friends in northern Ghana - we don't expect to get north again before we leave in June.
For Phil in Ethiopia at the end of the month for the pilot of the Ministry Evaluation development.
For wisdom for Andrea in her Ghana and Middle East roles and safety while Phil travels.

Conestoga Bible Camp - December 2018
PRAISE: That the Celebration Dinner on November 25 was a great evening with the camp community. We celebrated new purpose, purchase and vision! God is moving mountains, and directing our steps. PRAY: Staff applications will go online in December. Pray for the those that are considering returning as staff and those applying for the first time. Pray for the camp as we close the year with the projects we have ongoing. Tim Frey is working to give the chapel a "simple" update, but everything seems to lead to 2 more concerns! We are starting to develop the 2019 theme.

PRAISE: For partnership opportunities with Forward Church, Heritage College & Seminary and more; for the momentum in our ministry at Conestoga College and for students who have been willing to get involved and help. PRAY: For us as we navigate partnerships with churches and other ministries; for us to establish official student leaders at Conestoga College; for our student leadership team at Western to be more unified, organized and Spirit-led.
